ANOTHER TRAILER’S MAJOR OVERHAUL

The picture shows a trailer undergoing a major overhaul in the DANHIRE workshops.

We all tend to use our trailers regularly without always realising just how much wear and tear can develop over time.

Trailers that are left standing for long periods, perhaps in a barn or storage area, can also develop problems as moving parts seize up through lack of use.

One important area to keep an eye on is the tyres. When a trailer is left standing in the same position for extended periods, the tyre sidewalls can deteriorate, perish and eventually split.

A simple weekly walk-around inspection can help identify potential problems before they become serious.

Looking after your trailer means regular checks, proper maintenance and keeping it safe for the road.

Horse TRAILER Rear Ramp that also works as the Rear Doors!

Well it’s not every day we have a Horse TRAILER in the DANHIRE WORKSHOPS which is fitted with a Rear Ramp that also serves as the opening Barn Doors!

The Ramp / Doors had began to suffer with bad rot.

So a complete overhaul was necessary and came out really well…
