DanHIRE Trailers ROADSIDE CHECK with SUFFOLK POLICE

Mark and Mike of DanHIRE Trailers were invited by Sarah Smithurst MBE (Business Development Manager) of the National Trailer Association (NTTA) to join and assist Suffolk Police on one of their random road checks.

Representing NTTA this turned out to be amazing with a large number of Trailers being stopped by the traffic unit.

Loose couplings and torn or missing coupling bellows 

Lights not working

Number plates missing

This really shows how important it is to have a well serviced and maintained trailer when you are going about your work and towing.

NTTA  are working hard to bring in more trailer laws, at present as there are no MOTs on trailers or Caravans.

During a full day of checks only one trailer was found to be in good order.

Classic Vehicle Rally and Country Fayre Sunday May 2021!

During the last few years  we have had a Trailer display and Stand at Bungay Lions Club event at Earsham Hall.

Usually in sunny weather, big crowds and lots a chat about trailers and safety.

But as we all know  due to the sad times of COVID 19 Bungay Lions have had to cancel this event in 2020.

So as we come out the other side and do what we always did lets look forward and see you all  at this event  in 2021
